Diamonds may be forever, but outdated zoning regulations are no more in the Village of Diamond, Illinois. The Village retained Teska to update their antiquated code and consolidate and streamline multiple independent regulations regarding the design of new residential and commercial developments. The resulting code is heavily illustrated and easier to use for residents, developers, and Village staff. The updated code integrated recommendations from the Village’s Comprehensive Plan (also prepared by Teska and updated simultaneously with the Zoning Code) and greatly simplified landscape and sign regulations.
