The theme of this year’s Grundy County Growth Conference, being held at the end of October, is “Forecasting.”

Guest speakers include Rick Mattoon, economist for the Federal Reserve Band of Chicago, Chris Huecksteadt, residential forecast expert from Metrostudy, Rick Powell, Region 3 Engineer for IDOT, and Ty Warner of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. These experts will discuss the intricacies of the market and the forecast and why they are markedly different from previous predictions.
