Located midway between St. Louis and Memphis, Cape Girardeau is a thriving and dynamic city, along the banks of the Mississippi River in Southeastern Missouri. Teska Associates teamed with Orion Planning + Design to create Cape Vision 2040, the City’s Comprehensive Plan. A major focus of Cape Vision 2040 was to preserve the City’s rich history and leverage its arts and culture to enhance the local economy, further walkability and regional connectivity, strengthen neighborhoods, plan for sustainable infrastructure, and address key corridors and growth areas.
