Teska Associates undertook an economic impact analysis for the proposed City Gate West mixed-use development, which includes 400 luxury apartments, seven restaurant/retail pads, a small strip center, two hotels (220 hotel rooms), a Whirlyball facility, and approximately 22,000 square feet of medical office spaces. The development is proposed for a 100-acre site northwest of the Route 59 and I-88 interchange in Naperville.
The proposed City Gate West development is estimated to have a net positive impact on the City of Naperville of approximately $500,000 annually and is estimated to produce over 500 full-time jobs, plus 334 jobs during the construction process.
