Diamond, a growing small community situated along the border of Will and Grundy Counties, benefits from its strategic location and excellent transportation access. To better assess current conditions and refine its development goals, the Village partnered with Teska to update its 2015 Comprehensive Plan (also prepared by Teska). Key updates include adjustments to transportation and future land use recommendations, along with new proposals for the Division Street Corridor and renewable energy initiatives. The updated Plan will serve as a guiding framework for community and capital improvements while supporting the Village's efforts to secure funding through grants and other municipal resources.
