The Exmoor Board of Governors and Planning Committee selected Teska Associates, Inc. to provide a comprehensive analysis of the club’s exterior facilities and to prepare a long range exterior facilities advisory plan to direct future phased project implementation in a cohesive incremental manner. The areas addressed include the vehicular approach drive, parking areas, golf cart circulation, pedestrian routes and club facility structures such as tennis courts, platform tennis courts, pro-shop building, curling house, outdoor pool, and the main club house and adjacent terrace areas.
The intent of this plan is to acknowledge the distinct culture and heritage of the club while providing for future club needs and uses. Teska staff worked closely with the Exmoor Planning Committee. A series of plans which address both functional and aesthetic aspects of the facilities were presented to guide decision making towards an adopted framework plan. This framework plan was further developed and organized into a series of phased implementation projects.
Teska continues to remain involved with the detailed design of initial construction projects, including new lighting along the main entry drive and new hardscape and landscape treatments for the existing dance patio adjacent to the club house.
