After over 20 years in planning by Teska Associates, a historically significant conservation open space preservation, residential development is now underway in Lake Forest.
The roads, utilities and site grading was completed last fall and ready for the 2018 building season. This spring we will see pathways, ponds, bio-swales, evergreen windbreaks and flowering orchards emerge from the design studio into reality.
The 34-home community is located on 47 acres in the core of Lake Forest. Distinctive features include reconstruction of the historic architectural polo pony stables and barn, caretaker staff lodge as a new clubhouse, and reuse of the original country estate family home that inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Great Gatsby.
