Project Highlights

• A Parks & Recreation Master Plan was completed in conjunction with the Comprehensive Plan to ensure consistency and integration of recommendations

The Village of Shorewood is poised to grow through infill development and future annexation west of the village. Residents and staff treasure their family-oriented community but are also eager to see walkable destinations and have more local activities. During the engagement process, Teska identified several key themes for Shorewood's future: attracting new businesses, utilizing the DuPage River to its potential, increasing recreational space, and adding more housing options.

Concept renderings and a implementation section were prepared for five subareas based on their development potential and unique site conditions. This reflects community-supported goals and objectives.
