Committees are making progress on the downtown redevelopment plan in Western Springs, Planning and Zoning Chairman Marcia Buell told the Village Board on Monday. “The Steering Committee met on May 6 to discuss proposals so far,” Buell reported. “We got a good second look at suggestions for specific parts of downtown and a good first look at architectural guidelines.” The committee is expected to meet once more before the downtown development plan is presented to the community at an open house at 7 p.m. June 9 at Village Hall, 740 Hillgrove Ave. | Click here to read full article | Western Springs Project Website
