• Community-driven action-oriented master plan to cohesively address land use incompatibilities and development opportunities
• Update to the 1997 DuPage County Land Use Plan

The Route 83 Corridor Plan provided a future land use vision for unincorporated areas which reflects the needs and goals o f property owners and adjacent communities. Route 83 has become an increasingly important roadway, connecting communities, regional transportation routes, employees to employment centers, and businesses to customers. The corridor is a key asset for business and industry, but also home to many families and long-time residents. The plan includes short and long-t erm recommendations to address challenges, including pedestrian mobility and safety issues, traffic congestion, flooding concerns, and land use incompatibilities.
