Meet Kameria Nichols-Hazziez, Economic Development Analyst

📈 Kameria is an economic development enthusiast with a knack for market analysis and public policy. A proud POSSE Scholar, having earned a full scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she blends her analytical expertise with a creative edge. Beyond her passion for market analysis and economic development, Kameria discovered a love for fencing during her undergraduate years—because who says you can’t wield both a sword and a spreadsheet? Kameria's passion for fostering growth and opportunity is an incredible addition to our team.

Meet Aaron Lewis, Associate Landscape Designer

🎨 A creative powerhouse, Aaron merges his technical expertise in landscape design with a flair for stunning 3D renderings. With experience spanning multiple states and a background in construction oversight, he’s all about making visionary designs come to life. Aaron’s immersive academic journey at Iowa State University, particularly through the Savanna Studio and Rome Program, further deepened his understanding of and approach to design. When he’s not perfecting designs, Aaron loves exploring cities and towns for inspiration, and is currently on the hunt to adopt a pack of miniature dachshunds.

Meet Maly Sears, Associate Landscape Designer

🌿 A champion of inclusive and restorative design, Maly’s focus on universal accessibility shines in every project she touches. With a Master of Landscape Architecture and a love for nature, she’s dedicated to creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. Outside of work, you’ll find her rollerblading, exploring urban wildlife (queue the Lincoln Park Beaver -- proper noun), or diving into a good book. Prior to joining Teska Associates, Maly worked at Olsson Studio on projects including cultural plazas, senior living communities, and pedestrian oriented streetscapes. Maly is delighted to apply these interests and background to enhance the experiences people have in Teska-designed landscapes.

Meet Maggie Eickhoff, Community Planner

🏙️ Maggie is a community-driven planner passionate about making visioning and planning processes inclusive and engaging. With a flair for innovative communication and a background in transportation safety policy, she brings a fresh perspective to every project. A natural people person and community engagement liaison, Maggie has a unique affinity for being a “guide” through different sensory contexts. She served as a tour guide for the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio in Oak Park; a tasting guide for a winery in Indiana; and a scent consultant for a custom candle bar in Chicago. In the planning realm, she is able to leverage these experiences and communication skills to help people get in touch with their communities and embrace the placemaking and visioning process.
