Recently, the Wisconsin Green Build Alliance (WGBA) sponsored a design competition for young professionals to redesign a neighborhood in Milwaukee.
Benjamin Carlisle, AICP, LEED AP, Planning Associate with Teska Associates, was part of the 2nd place winning team. Eight teams competed to come up with a creative and well-planned design that addressed the needs of the Walnut Way Conservation Corp. and surrounding neighborhood. The judging took place on July 22nd. As a followup, the team will be presenting their design at the WGBA member meeting next month in Madison, WI.
